Ensign-isms

An ensignism is a story about Taylor, Alisa, Cassidy, Mckay, and Kelsey Ensign. These stories may be elaborate or mundane, but with the combined personalities of our little family, they are sure to be entertaining.

"Dad, why do you have to keep taking my picture?"

Cassidy and Mckay were fearless as they explored the Red Rocks, which of course made Alisa and I terrified that they were going to explore themselves over a ledge. Fortunately we escaped without any injuries.

Green Valley Resort. The kids loved that there were multiple swimming pools to choose from.

We had the great opportunity to see Disney's Tarzan at Tuacahn theater. The kids loved watching the "apes" on "vines" travel above our heads. Even as Mother Nature chose to rain down upon us, we stuck it out, and had a great time.

"Fort"

Cassidy and Mckay made a "fort" and fell asleep inside.

Weekend Adventure

We recently were able to spend a quick weekend up at a Condo in Midway, Utah. Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for letting us use their weekend of the time-share. We had a blast riding bikes, swimming, and even an adventure over to Park City for a couple of rides down the Alpine Slide.

Collecting Rocks to throw off the bridge. (Yes it made Mom nervous to have Dad hold Mckay over the railing.)

Taking a quick swim in the pool.

Our quick weekend adventure continued with an afternoon stop at the Park City Resort for a couple of rides down the Alpine Slide. After describing what the Alpine Slide would be like, Cassidy said, "I might be a little bit scared." However, once she got going, it was Dad who was trying to apply the brake. Mckay enjoyed the slide too, however, the highlight for him may have been the chairlift ride to the top.

Couple of Cute Kids

It is always fun as a parent to get to be with your children when they experience something exciting for the first time. We have already been told that we need to make a return visit to the Alpine Slide the next time we are in the area.
