Ensign-isms
An ensignism is a story about Taylor, Alisa, Cassidy, Mckay, and Kelsey Ensign. These stories may be elaborate or mundane, but with the combined personalities of our little family, they are sure to be entertaining.

Mckay vs. Table. Table 1 - Mckay 9...stitches
Mckay vs. Table = Table Wins again! I know what you are thinking, isn't that the same eyebrow that he needed stitches in over a year ago? Yes, yes it is. Something to be said for accuracy AND consistency.
Mckay was not too excited at the thought of having to go get stitches.
Mckay was not too excited at the thought of having to go get stitches.
Even for a three-year old, he certainly had some interesting questions about the "goings-on" in an emergency room late at night.
Why do they have those clothes on?
How come they have to have masks on?
Why that person crying?
Why that thing beeping?
"MSD" Mother-Son-Date
While Dad and Cassidy were off watching Cinderella ice skate, Mom and Mckay had a fun date of their own. Mom took Mckay to Build-a-Bear where Mckay chose the DAD and BOY dogs; aptly named Big Scruffy and Little Scruffy.
A cute boy who really has a fun time when he gets some one-on-one time with his Mom. Thanks to Alisa for not only being a fun date for me, but also for being fun on the occasional date with Mckay.
"DDD" Daddy-Daughter-Date
Yep, it's that time again....Time for a "DDD" Daddy-Daughter-Date! And what better way to enjoy this one-on-one time, then some good ol' fashion ice skating. Princess on Ice that is.
Quite the Princess! It really is a special time to watch the excitement on her face with each new princess arriving on the ice. She sang along with the various songs, and cheered when evil villans were defeated.

9 November - Happy Birthday Mckay
Happy 3rd Birthday to Mckay!
Mckay decided to throw a last minute change into his birthday cake desires, which resulted in a stop at the store, and a "new" birthday cake selection. He was very excited to watch them write his name in icing on the cake. For his Birthday dinner, Mckay chose Training Table. Grandma and Grandpa Weaver were kind to join us.Mckay listening on the cell phone as Grandma Lisa, "Papa" (Grandpa) Eric, Camille, and Hunter all sang Happy Birthday! We each chose a shape and a side of the cake to enjoy. An appropriate way to deface a perfectly good birthday cake I think.
