Ensign-isms

An ensignism is a story about Taylor, Alisa, Cassidy, Mckay, and Kelsey Ensign. These stories may be elaborate or mundane, but with the combined personalities of our little family, they are sure to be entertaining.

New Years Eve

NEW YEAR'S EVE 2009
It was nice to enjoy a relaxing morning. Taylor had to work half a day, but when he got home the kids and I were still in pajamas.
Oh how I love pajama days.
Every year my family rents a small tumbling gym in Springville. We get an hour and a half to play and do what we want. The kids love it. I was a little nervous since Mckay was still a little sick, but we still ventured out.
The gym is always freezing so I asked Cassidy to put some leggings on with her leotard. She has pink, purple, rainbow, black, white....but of coarse she chose brown. The two colors that I really don't like mixed together for outfits.
There is a small trampoline that you can practice flipping off into a foam pit. The kids love jumping in. Just be careful, if you jump in with socks there is a good chance that you will have lost them by the time you climb out.

Taylor is always coming up with fun games and ideas. Above is a video of a game he made up for Cassidy and Mckay. Mckay would get too scared and he wouldn't straighten his legs all the way, but Taylor would still manage to get him to slide a little bit.

In this video clip Taylor scares Mckay about 13 secs in. He tosses him in the air while they are jumping. After that Mckay wouldn't let go of his neck when they jumped.

All the cousins loved to run down the long mat and jump in the foam pit. You can tell the oldest, because they are the fastest, and the youngest are the slowest.
12:00 AM. We made it.
Can you not see that I am sick and tired???
Why am I still awake after midnight? My bed time was 4 hours ago.
This is Cassidy's second year in a row making it up until midnight.
She loves staying up late with all her cousins and drinking apple juice when the big ball drops.
We hope everyone has a great 2010,
Happy New Years!
