Ensign-isms

An ensignism is a story about Taylor, Alisa, Cassidy, Mckay, and Kelsey Ensign. These stories may be elaborate or mundane, but with the combined personalities of our little family, they are sure to be entertaining.

Cassidy's Christmas Program

Cassidy performing in her preschool program
Cassidy has been attending Polka Dot Preschool this year. She has a large class of 14. Her teacher is Ms. Jen. This year her program was at an LDS church building. The room was not big enough for all the family and friends coming to the program. We sat in the back, on the opposite corner from Cassidy. Unless we stood on our chairs we couldn't even see Cassidy. She did a great job singing all the songs and she nailed her speaking part. She was one of a few that actually had her part memorized. I spent most of the program standing in the hall near Cassidy so I could get some pictures. Cassidy was excited to wear her wedding clothes again and even painted her nails red for the occasion. Good Job Cassidy. Mom and Dad are proud of you. We love you!
Taylor and Mckay waiting for the performance to begin.
The program combined Cassidy's and one other class. 28 kids in total. Can you say chaos???
Dashing through the snow.....
Cassidy and Mckay at the end of the program. I think Mckay was excited to congratulate Cassidy, or he may have just been stoked that it was over becuase he couldn't even see his sister.
Grandma and Granpa Weaver came to the performance.
Grandma Lisa and Grandpa Eric were sad to miss is. Grandma's calling kept her busy at a special needs mutal Christmas activity that prevented them from coming.
The Fam
I love this picture because it shows how Mckay always gives me hugs and snuggles. He loves putting his arm around your head so you can be cheek to cheek.
Below is a very low quality film of Cassidy giving her speaking part, but at least you can hear what she says:
"Yugoslavian children plant wheat on a plate and let it grow until Christmas Eve."
